WARNING: first longest post blogged on my tumblr.
^ LOL.
life has been pretty hectic these days
good thing it’s treating me right ey!
working at dad’s law firm’s been alright. nothing much going on, just the usual readings. i’m finally done with islamic divorce law! well not really lah cause i took the courage to skip few lots of important chapters. & so far i’ve only understood the main definition of “divorce” profoundly. like, the introduction section.
oh wells!
so now i’ve moved on to medical negligence, as it seems much more interesting than the one mentioned above. & then i shall move to the one about contracts! though i got a feeling that that is going to be more tedious compared to the one about medical negligence. i guess you gotta sacrifice in the life of being a future lawyer? speaking of my ambition, i’m still unsure about my future occupation. medical or law? nevertheless, this unsolved problem doesn’t bother me right now as i still have many more years to contemplate about this yes!
i went to pass the time in suria sabah with mum yesterday. we brought grams along too, had lunch at kenny rogers. i’m surprised at how different owners of different location of franchises makes a huge difference! the kenny rogers at suria sabah is so much better than the ones i’ve been at! (in kk) not only does the food quality is much better (especially the macarony cheese [i think thats how you spell it]. the sauce was less diluted than the ones i’ve eaten before) but the waiter and waitresses are really friendly! probably cause part of them are students working part-time. & to prove how welcoming they are, every single customers whom comes to dine-in are welcomed harmonically by them! it’s a good tactic though, creating a better environment. anyway, the waiter who waited us was rather friendly, that even mum made friends with him! (which was embarrassing at first) we found out that he’s 16 this year, a student from la salle named deren? can’t remember though. besides kenny rogers, there’s also kfc and pizza hut. (if i’m not mistaken) it’s pretty wise of them to open at the same time cos even though some shops are open for people to shop at, but society is always hungry!
metrojaya’s alright though. it’s about 3 floors. goods sold there are pretty cheap, but the quality of things there are less worth it. i understand the concept of this, but don’t you think it’s a little unfair to all of us? cheap things = cheap quality. cheebye can. -__-“!
there’s laura ashley, east india etc. mum thinks the stuff sold there are rejected from kl, as clothes which is supposedly rm700(i think :S!) are sold cheaper. or things that could not be sold at a certain limit are sent to kk. how cruel! i wouldn’t want to buy my clothes from metrojaya though, as there are more than 2 or 3 of the exact same thing, so imagine walking around someplace and then spoting someone wearing the same thing! like uniform wei! quite cheebye also right?
but anyways, these are my opinions, but it’s still best to go see for yourself! :D
i really hope forever 21 and topshop’s going to be there too. we’ll anticipate ey!
i think suria sabah’s a little bit too spacious. i mean all the space are probably going to be occupied with small stalls, benches and whatnot, but ish too besar this O.O
i’ve also seen about a dozen of kids that kept on tripping on the floor :o! how can a mall be too smooth?! XD when i first set foot i got the same impression as most people too (yes?). floor’s too slippery, in a way that it’s not wet or something. like :S! … okay.
wow, don’t you think i’m such a harsh, judgemental person after reading all of this? i didn’t intend on bringing the whole image down though, was just giving opinions ey. but above all of this, i still think suria sabah’s going to be a hit compared to 1b! :D
